Dear Parents,
In honor of Rosh Chodesh Nissan (which begins tonight),we celebrated the birth of the Nation of Israel on Pesach, and your children's Hebrew birthdays as well!
The party began a cool slideshow in which the morot explained that the Jewish people transformed into a nation when they left Egypt on Pesach, and that is why Pesach is the birthday of the Jewish Nation! Then, the morot explained that every Jewish person has a Hebrew birthday, and each child received a paper with their Hebrew birthday written on it. We played an exciting game where the children were challenged to line up in the order of their Hebrew birthdays. The students had a fabulous time and they were adorable as they figured out where to stand all by themselves!
Our special guest, Rav Ronen stopped by to wish us a happy birthday and then it was time for delicious cake! Everyone received a gorgeous handwritten card from their parents, and a cute present to take home. But there was one more surprise left...we also received our brand new Pesach workbooks! We can't wait to start working in them on Monday!
The students had a blast celebrating and learning about their Hebrew birthdays, and about the birth of the Jewish Nation! Thank you to all the Kittah Aleph parents, who sent in their children's Hebrew birthdays and wrote messages in the birthday cards.
Shabbat Shalom!
