Today, while learning about Yitziat Mizrayim and Pesach, we wanted to show the class what it was like to be slaves in Egypt. The class was divided into four groups and each group was given their building supplies, a box of magnet tiles. The Morot were Pharaoh and his officers and the class was Bnei Yisrael. They were first ordered to build a large building, but every few minutes the Morah would change her mind, knock down all the buildings, and order the class to build something new. The class enjoyed the activity very much and really saw what it was like to be slaves in Egypt!
As well, we also started working on our own personal hagadot today. The children were so excited to learn all about Pesach and to write in and color in their own personal hagadot!!
