In reading, we have been discussing what good readers think about as we read folk tales. We have discussed characters, setting, and plot. Today, we read a version of The Gingerbread Man, and the students practiced thinking and talking with a peer about these topics as they listened to the folk tale.
Also, as Pesach vacation approaches, we are looking for families who are interested in taking our Bess beetles and Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches home over the break. Both are very easy to care for. If you are interested, please let me know. If multiple families are interested, we will hold a raffle.
