Learning outside

Today in first grade, the class read the story for the letter צ which tells all about how Morah Shira brought her class outside, where they drew pictures of a turtle (צב), and birds (ציפורים), trees (עצים), and a

 flowerpot (עציץ)--all words with the letter צ!!

Then, later in the day we did the same thing as Morah Shira's class and went outside for class!! The children enjoyed coloring in pictures of deer, flowerpots, and birds, just like their favorite characters from Ariot.  Afterwards, each student was able to make his/her own flowerpot filled with seeds from Eretz Yisrael! The students had so much fun learning outside. Please make sure your child waters the plant everyday. Thank you!
