This morning we had Bet Sefer L'Muzika, our special musical performance. The first graders and all of BPY sang beautifully and had so much fun! They loved being on the stage and did a great job. And the children who chose not to perform cheered wonderfully for all the grades! Afterwards, the entire school was treated to a visit from an ice cream truck!
Then, in the afternoon, the class made a special fruit salad in honor of the Bikurim (first fruits) that were brought by Bnei Yisrael on Shavuot in the time of the Beit Hamikdash. The students did a great job cutting up the fruit and enjoyed eating all the delicous fruit.
