Learning about neighbors

Today as part of our unit on the letter nun (נ), the class learned the word "neighbor" (שכן).  The students learned the many ways to say "neighbor" in Hebrew, whether feminine or masculine,  singular or plural. Then, the children were put into pairs and given different cards with many words.  With the help of these cards, each pair was able to put together different sentences about neighbors. The students had so much fun and learned so much!! And at the end of the class, the students were able to put together any sentence they wanted. The children came up with such creative and interesting sentences about neighbors!
