חלה!!

In honor of the class finishing learning the letter "lamed", today we learnt how to make challah!  We taught the class how to braid the challot and we learnt all about the mitzvah of hafrashat challah.  We explained to them how in the times of the beit hamikdash, everyone would set aside challah to give to the kohen and we said the bracha for hafrashat challah.  The class had so much fun and it was so great to see how creative they were in designing the shape of their challot!! We hope they all enjoy their yummy challot!
