To celebrate T"u Bishvat, we have been learning for the past week a lot about trees, what are on trees and the meaning of T"u Bishvat and the 7 minim, including the song about the 7 minim.
Yesterday we made one big T"u Bishvat plate for our class's bulletin board, from smaller plates that the children drew, decorated and wrote with their partners.
Today we had so much fun exploring the 7 minim in which the children set in groups and each group got one fruit or grain from the 7 minim and had to identify it by sensing, tasting and observing their part. At the end each group got to present their identification notes to the class.
