Kita Alef's Celebration for Finishing the Alef-Bet

Dear parents,

Today in Kita Alef, the class celebrated finishing all the letters of the alef-bet. As part of our celebration, each child was told to bring in an object that begins with a specific letter in the alef-bet. Then, the class had "show and tell", and each child presented his/her object in Hebrew, according to the order of the alef-bet. It was lovely to see all the creative ideas the children came up with! Afterwards, the class played many different games related to the alef-bet and the objects they brought. What a fun way to celebrate finishing learning all of the alef-bet!

As well, Kita Alef will be selling gorgeous framed pictures with the a letter from the alef-bet and a pasuk that corresponds with that letter for $10.  Today, the children worked on making the backgrounds for these beautiful art projects for the walk-a-thon. Take a look at the pictures for a sneak peek of what you can buy to benefit the walk-a-thon!  If you haven't yet gotten a chance, please visit our page for the walk-a-thon, at the following link. Any donation makes a difference.

Thank you!
