Today, the first graders started learning the letter ק, and as part of the lesson, they learned all about different animals and their קולות (the noises they make). After hearing all the many noises that animals make, each child was given a ball of Play-dough and was able to make a specific animal for our very own zoo in Kita Alef. The students worked so well and were so creative in creating their animals. The zoo exhibit came out beautifully and the class had so much fun! And, I can't wait for our (pretend) trip to the zoo tomorrow through the story we will be reading in the Ariot book!
