Recipe for Elephant's Salad!

Today in first grade, the class started learning about the letters פ/פּ (pey/fey). To present this new letter, the Morot put on a funny skit about a family of פּילים (elephants) preparing elephant salad!! The children just loved the skit and had so much fun!! Then, the students got their brand new Ariot workbooks! They were so excited and couldn't wait to start working on them.  Then, each student read the story about the elephants in their workbooks and worked on questions about the story. Afterwards, each student completed a worksheet on the story and had to write the special recipe for the elephant's salad. What a fun and educational way to learn about the letter פ! The class can't wait to keep working on their new workbooks!!
