1A: Writing Titles Like Meish Goldish

As the First Graders prepared their nonfiction books for publishing, they looked at books by author Meish Goldish to get some ideas for writing engaging titles. For example, we discussed how Meish Goldish titled his book about worms, Inside the Worm's Hole, instead of simply calling the book, "Worms" or "All About Worms."  Then, the children brainstormed possible titles for their own books before designing covers for their books. They are so proud of their hard work!
